Let’s talk about basic income at UBI Lab
Hunome had a stellar presence at the Let's Talk About Basic Income event hosted by the UBI Lab Network.
With CEO Dominique Jaurola and CCO Mika Raulas at the helm, Hunome participated in yesterday's gathering in Helsinki. Their presentation focused on building knowledge and understanding around the event's central theme.
The event, organized in collaboration with UBI Lab Finland, Systems Change Finland, and Citizen Network, brought together diverse participants. From ministers and politicians to researchers, network leaders, activists, and citizens, attendees engaged in discussions about how UBI could potentially enhance well-being and drive societal transformation.
We heard (and documented them on Hunome) innovative ideas from the speakers and the participants, including:
Maria Ohisalo—Minister of the Environment and Climate Change and former Minister of the Interior;
Maria Guzenina—a member of the Finnish parliament and former Minister of Health and Social Services;
Sirpa Pietikäinen—MEP, Finnish Member of the European Parliament;
Laura Tulikorpi—a teacher, coach and council member for a county wellbeing service;
Simo Raittila—researcher, journalist and coordinator of Visio think tank,
Ville Pellinen—managing director of Lapinlahden Lähde, the center for mental wellbeing and cultural events;
Dominique Jaurola—futurist and CEO of Hunome.
