Hunomics Ltd, hereinafter referred to as “Hunome”, is a global platform for connecting, interacting and discovering what we are and want as humans.

In order to make sense of our humanness, Hunome collects personal data to provide and improve our services. Our Privacy Policy outlines:

• how it is used and handled when you use the Hunome platform and services,
• how we store your data,
• how we protect your data against misuse,
• and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide us.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Hunomics Ltd and Hunome. This privacy policy applies to the use of the services provided by Hunome where we are acting as a Data Controller, as defined in the data protection legislation.

Your privacy is of utmost importance. Hunome complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and processes personal data on the basis of your consent. In order to serve you in the best possible way, we need certain information about you. We use information about you to:
• Provide and improve our services
• Improve user experience by personalising the services and website
• Provide content and features that match user profiles and interests
• Provide customer service
• Help protect the safety of Hunome and our users, which includes blocking harmful behavior, addressing abuse, and enforcing the Hunome community code of conduct and our terms of service and our cookie policy.
• Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and other support and administrative messages
• Communicate with you about services and events.Provide news and information we think will be of interest to you (you can opt out of these communications)
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services

We may process any of your personal data identified in this policy where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure, or managing risks. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest to protect and assert our legal rights, your legal rights and the legal rights of others, and proper protection of our business against risks. We may also process any of your personal data where such processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject to, or in order to protect your vital interests.

We collect information you provide to us directly when you use Hunome services. The types of information we record will depend upon the services you use and what you choose to provide. We do not collect information about you from other sources or any sensitive personal data, nor information from children under 16 years of age, except for children between the age of 13 to 16 with parental approval. We do not receive information about you from any third parties.

Account data. To create an account, you must register and provide your name, username, profile details, age, password, birthdate and email address. Your name and username are public. We may also store your user account preferences and settings which may additionally contain the following information: telephone number, IP address, or any other information submitted by you. The account data may be processed for the purposes of operating our website, providing our services, ensuring the security of our website and services, maintaining back-ups of our databases and communicating with you.

Content you submit and actions you take. We collect the content you submit to Hunome services. This includes your sharing, additional profile information, engagements and your communication with us and other users, as well as anything you share to other social media via our content sharing features. Your content may include text, images, videos, selections and links. We will also retain and evaluate information on your recent visits to our website and how you move around different sections of our website for analytics purposes to improve our website and services.

Transactional information. The initial service we launch is free, so-called freemium service. When at a later stage you purchase services or products from us, we will collect certain information from you relating to transactions, including your contact details and the transaction details.

Other information. You may choose to provide other information directly to us. For example, we may collect information when you fill out a form for example for the purpose of subscribing to our email notifications and/or newsletters, request customer support, or participate in Hunome events or otherwise communicate with us.

Some of your data may be processed and examined by us to analyse the use of our website and services as follows:
Log and usage data. We may process data about your activity and use of our services for analytics purposes to understand how people use the website and application, so that we can make it more intuitive and to make suggestions to you. This data may include information such as IP address, geographical location, browser type or version or the domain from which you are visiting, operating system, pages you visit, search terms and navigation paths you use, content you click on, the time and date of your visit and time spent on those pages, frequency and pattern of your service use, and other statistics. The source of the usage data is our analytics system. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this.

Cookies are small files sent by a web server and placed on your computer or mobile device to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information. When you visit our website, we may collect information and personal data from you automatically through cookies or similar technology. You have the ability to accept, customize or decline cookies in your browser settings. If you choose to decline cookies, you will not be able to use all the features on our website.

Hunome uses cookies to ensure that our service and website works, to analyze how our website is used, to distinguish you from other users, to optimize, improve and personalize your online experience, and to keep you signed in. Cookies make our website easier to navigate and more user-friendly. Cookies can also be used to establish whether your browser has previously accessed our website. In such cases, only the cookie on your browser is identified. Such data does not reveal your name or other personal information, and your identity cannot be determined based on cookies alone. Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal data that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies, for example to keep you logged in and to remember your information and setting when you come back into the service. We do NOT use advertising, nor cookies that track for the purposes of advertising.

Hunome takes security measures to protect your personal data from loss or unauthorised access. Personal data is stored confidentially and securely. Your personal data is encrypted and can only be accessed by assigned Hunome employees who need the data for their assignments. The data network and equipment of Hunome and its possible information technology partners are protected using a firewall and other necessary technical measures.

We may disclose registration data to such third-party services as Typeform and MailChimp to communicate with you.

In addition to the specific disclosures of personal data set out here, we may disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. We may also disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure.

Hunome will keep your personal data for no longer than necessary for the processing purposes mentioned above. This means that your personal data are kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the specified purposes.

We are bound to retain certain personal data for longer in areas where Hunome must comply with its statutory retention or legal obligations, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

Based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
• Access: you have the right of access to your personal data to review the user information that you have supplied to us.
• Correction: you can request that we correct any errors, outdated information, or omissions in user information that you have supplied to us and we will correct them.
• Erasure: you can submit a request to have your personal data erased from our records, under certain conditions. Please see our Terms of Service.
• Restriction: if you believe that Hunome is processing your personal data incorrectly, you can ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
• Objection: you may object to the processing of your personal data on the grounds of special personal circumstances.
• Portability: You can ask that we transfer your personal data to another organisation or to you.

If you make a request, we respond to you within a month. Upon request, Hunome will provide you with information about whether or not we hold any of your Personal Information.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@hunome.com. You can also complain about our processing of your personal data to a supervisory authority.
You also have the right to withdraw consent: to the extent that the legal basis of our processing of your personal data has altered, you can withdraw your consent. In such a case the data processed prior to the moment of withdrawal will remain lawful.

Hunome reserves the right to remove you from the platform in the case of behavior that breaches our terms of service. Under these circumstances, your personal data will be erased.

Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the EU in cases where Hunome’s service providers are established in a non-EU member state. The level of protection in such countries, including the United States, may not be the same as in the EU. Hunome therefore takes appropriate measures to safeguard your personal data.

Hunome would like to send you information about our product and services, as well as notifications on the platform. We may use your personal information to contact you with newsletters or other information that we think you might like.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop Hunome from contacting you for marketing purposes or sharing your data with third party providers. Hunome is entitled to amend its privacy policy and we may change it from time to time. Hunome will always inform you about any substantial changes to the Privacy Policy with an update notice on the Hunome homepage and in your settings pages.
