Humanathon calendar
Humanathons inspire and empower individuals and groups to cultivate shared understanding and drive meaningful change. They can take various forms, often beginning as virtual gatherings that kick off knowledge-building on our SparkMaps. SparkMaps serve as visual representations of this collective knowledge and sensemaking, with each "spark" representing the unique perspective and ideas contributed by participants.
These thought maps are open for ongoing development both during and after the gatherings. Some incredible people initiate the SparkMap building sessions.
You can attend the sessions below by signing up for the Hunome platform.
Upcoming Humanathon
How are modern audiences shaping the future of brands?
Modern audiences are wielding unprecedented power in shaping the future of brands. Trends are born and spread at lightning speed, and brands must adapt and engage with their audiences like never before. The collective wisdom and preferences of the diverse consumer base can lead brands to better their products and messaging. This relationship between brands and modern audiences is instrumental in driving innovation, building brand loyalty, and ultimately shaping the trajectory of how business is done. From demanding fair wages and ethical practices to seeking authentic engagement on social issues, brands must evolve or risk irrelevance. In this Humanathon, we will work to build a shared understanding on how marketers, product folk, and designers are embracing this shift towards audience-centricity.
Democracy drinks: Democracy in action!
#DemocracyDrinks are informal networking events for people who are interested in democracy.
The aim of January's Democracy Drinks is to start a discussion about the desired society and the future of democracy in a changing world. Things in many countries are not developing in a way that sustains democratic ideals and institutions. This year's economics Nobel laureates are also worried about this. We are influenced and we do not fully control this, but how we respond to it is in our own hands. We need a new story that we can all support. What do we want, where do we want to be? What is the appealing vision of a modern democratic society?
Decolonizing Futures: Perspectives from the Global South
This initiative seeks to explore decolonial futures thinking and practices through the lens of Global South communities, focusing on how indigenous knowledge systems, cultural worldviews, and historical legacies can reshape futures studies. By centering Global South voices, this project aims to map Global South perspectives in foresight and discuss participatory approaches and narrative-based futures that honor the unique temporalities, insights and contexts of the Global South. Through the Hunome platform, this initiative will offer a mechanism to discuss futures studies that are rooted in Global South values, solidarity and societal transformation.

Bring your knowledge and perspectives from complexity science, chaos theory, cybernetics, energetics, physics, future studies, etc. to develop a deeper understanding of the disease and discover novel methods of therapeutic intervention. Hunome and Houda Boulahbel invite you to broaden our understanding of complexity, so we can look at cancer through a new lens, in a series of four events. In each event, we will learn and build on our different perspectives.

Linards Kalvans. AI Regulations
I needs to be regulated, it may be misused and become dangerous as any other technology, it may cause confusion and misunderstanding if not properly explained and presented. However it is on such a rapid course of evolution as no other technology before. Despite already being used on wide range of occassions from registering cars at parking lots to being appointed as some companies CEO, the regulations for AI vague at best. Join us to explore this complex theme.
This build is led by Linards Kalvans, data practitioner and AI enthusiast.
