Humanathon calendar
Humanathons inspire and empower individuals and groups to cultivate shared understanding and drive meaningful change. They can take various forms, often beginning as virtual gatherings that kick off knowledge-building on our SparkMaps. SparkMaps serve as visual representations of this collective knowledge and sensemaking, with each "spark" representing the unique perspective and ideas contributed by participants.
These thought maps are open for ongoing development both during and after the gatherings. Some incredible people initiate the SparkMap building sessions.

Session 5: UBI Global by UBI Labs In our previous Humanothon sessions with Hunome on ‘Universal Basic Income’ session we had people with different backgrounds and knowledge making sense of the many perspectives of UBI. The results were fascinating, as evidenced by the SparkMap. This session 5 coming on Feb 1, 2024 aims to bring more stakeholders with different skill sets into the Humanothon process and the SparkMap. We are encouraging the field experts and enthusiasts to join this fifth Humanothon session.

UBI Global Humanothon. We are inviting you to deliberate and build forward the exciting SparkMap titled “UBI, Universal Basic Income” we started building at UBI Lab Finland. It brings together – connecting the dots – the various perspectives surrounding UBI, the changes and impact, what is changing now, what are examples from around the world, what innovations, what possibilities for improvements, how are humans around the world experiencing the experiments and ideas put forward. This build is led by UBI Lab Finland, a citizen-led group exploring and advocating for Universal Basic Income.
Houda Boulahbel. Embracing complexity of cancer.
Embracing complexity of cancer. If we apply a different lens to cancer, it can be viewed as a complex adaptive system. Bring your knowledge and perspectives from complexity science, chaos theory, cybernetics, energetics, physics, future studies, etc. to develop a deeper understanding of the disease and discover novel methods of therapeutic intervention. Hunome and Houda Boulahbel invite you to broaden our understanding of complexity, so we can look at cancer through a new lens, in a series of four events. In each event, we will learn and build on our different perspectives.
Timo Kuusiola. EU Energy Policy. (Session 2)
This build explores EU’s energy and economic policy and their effects and links to the goals of sustainable development. This is a second workshop on the theme, building on the SparkMap created in the first session in May 2023 by experts and young social influencers. Our goal now is to engage more experts, politicians and activists.This build is led by Timo Kuusiola, the founder of Creatura Think Do Tank, a thinker, and organization activist.
